Vita Verde (refers to healthy living) bloomed out of a friendship between two neighbors, artist-Elena Cusi Wortham and Sheryl Stephenson. Their decorative mixed media pieces are an assortment of ideas taken from Houston’s Flora. One of a kind low fire ceramic wall hangings, table dressings, vessels, etc., are designed from leaves found in the Heights area – formed with wet clay, fired, painted and sanded, glazed and fire again.
