Our story starts as the passion project of our founder, Christine. She created Cadeau Confections in 2017 after deciding to break away from the hustle of her previous career, choosing instead to dive headfirst into her love of creating confections for friends and family.

After countless holiday celebrations where she had to make extra batches to satisfy demand, Christine decided that perfecting her recipes and sharing her creations was the perfect calling for her. Jonathan, her husband, agrees and enjoys his position in the company as Executive Taste Tester.

Christine’s ultimate vision is to encourage sharing the gift (which is “cadeau” in French) of edible indulgence with the world.

In the beginning, Christine experimented extensively with different ingredients and perfecting the toffee cooking process. As a trained pharmacist-researcher, she utilizes the intricacies of ingredients, mixing, and experimentation to the highest degree in every batch. Add in sophisticated packaging and attention to detail, and this results in a decadence you can’t experience anywhere else.
