Create An Opera Camp

Register now for Create An Opera Summer Camp at Wheeler Avenue Baptist Church! Perfect for students entering grades 3-8, this camp will be held at Wheeler June 10 through 14. In one week, campers collaborate to write, design, build, and perform a one-of-a-kind musical masterpiece based on a children’s story. Scholarships are available!  

Art of Opera Camp

Join us for Art of Opera camp this summer with HGO! Campers will develop their vocal and dramatic skills by rehearsing and performing scenes from classic and modern operas at the Wortham Theater. Students with interest and experience in backstage and technical roles (i.e., set design, costume, props, lighting, stage management, etc.) are welcome to apply. This exciting camp fills quickly: apply early! Perfect for Grades 9-12. Scholarships are available!
