My inspiration comes from nature, particularly birds and plants of Texas. I am drawn to vivd colors and to the imagery and motifs of Mexican Folk Art. I interpret the patterns I see in nature by applying origami and other decorative papers, as well as textural objects and metallic threads, to a canvas. Email
