It was the fall of 2017 that we learned the power of light. With Hurricane Harvey devastating Erica’s property, the need for hope was immeasurable. After four long months and with plenty of work to be done, Southern Flare was created to help give light to those who need it most.
We hand pour and hand mix all our own natural soy candles. We are proud to do each batch artisan style in our homes, and hand pours each candle into a simple and clean container.
We have diligently tested over 100 scents to find beautiful blends that capture the heart of Southern Flare and turn them into signature scents that we share with our customer base. We are always looking for new and unique scents to add to our line as well as capture the spirit of the season and strive for continuous improvement. Our candles have no added dyes, made from all-natural soy wax, non- toxic fragrance oil that aligns with the RIFM standards, and all-natural cotton wick. We offer a clean and healthy burning candle while enjoying a beautiful aroma and a warm glow.
Erica and Doris reside in Houston, Texas with their families including 4 kids, 3 pups and 2 cats. They share a friendship and an outstanding dedication to bring the world a natural clean burning soy candle.
